Refund policy

1. Overview

OdysseyCosmetics is committed to providing high-quality products and customer satisfaction. This Warranty Policy outlines the rights and remedies available to customers who purchase the Lumina Red Light Therapy Facial Mask (“Lumina”).

This warranty applies to products purchased directly from OdysseyCosmetics or through authorized retailers.

This policy does not limit or replace any statutory consumer rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws in the European Union and the Netherlands.

2. Legal Consumer Guarantee

Under EU consumer law, customers are entitled to a minimum two-year legal guarantee on goods purchased from a professional seller.

This means that the Lumina device must function as expected and conform to its description, marketing, and normal use for a reasonable period.

If the product is defective or does not function as advertised during this period, the customer may be entitled to:

Repair of the product
Replacement of the product
Price reduction
Refund (if repair or replacement is not possible)

These remedies are provided free of charge and within a reasonable timeframe.

The 2-year guarantee period begins on the date the customer receives the product.

3. OdysseyCosmetics Commercial Warranty

In addition to the statutory consumer guarantee, OdysseyCosmetics provides a 2-year limited commercial warranty for the Lumina device.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and product malfunctions under normal consumer use.

Coverage includes
Device failing to power on
LED therapy malfunction
Electrical or charging faults
Manufacturing defects affecting normal operation
Coverage does not include
Damage caused by misuse or improper handling
Accidental damage (drops, impacts, water exposure)
Unauthorized modifications or repairs
Damage caused by use outside recommended instructions
Normal wear and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

4. Burden of Proof

If a defect appears within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise.

After 12 months, the customer may need to demonstrate that the defect was not caused by misuse or normal wear.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty service, customers must:

6. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

In addition to the legal withdrawal period provided under EU law, OdysseyCosmetics offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

If a customer is not satisfied with Lumina, they may request a refund within 30 days of receiving the product, provided that:

The request is submitted within 30 days of delivery
The device is returned in good condition
All original accessories and packaging are included

Refunds will be processed after the returned product is received and inspected.

Return shipping costs may apply unless the product is defective.

7. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing times may vary but typically occur within 5–10 business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.

8. Limitation of Liability

OdysseyCosmetics’ liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the Lumina device as described in this policy.

This warranty does not cover indirect, incidental, or consequential damages unless required by applicable law.
